Pan-Pacific anticipates monumental achievements from Kaiser San Diego Central Hospital. This $700 million dollar project marks one of the largest projects in Pan-Pacific history. Pan-Pacific focused on several initiatives in the design and construction of the project. Incorporating more efficient water systems helped us target the LEED Platinum requirements. The use of a Tri-Generation System stands at the forefront of efficient power systems offering greater benefits in electricity, heating and cooling. This system attains higher overall efficiency by turning waste heat into combined cooling, heat, and power. An integrated chilled beam system and a rain water collection system also helped the owner in obtaining LEED Platinum. These advanced features incorporated with innovative structural methods and high performing mechanical systems provide a sustainable and efficient state of the art hospital where patients and staff may forever thrive.
